One Point Perspective

Last year I took a very intense class called Color Rendering. Did I mention that it was intense? I have never worked so hard in my life! Whenever I would talk about my projects in that class, my lips would go numb and my neck would break out in hives. I had never broken out in hives before that semester. The class was all about drawing things in realistically in perspective and then coloring them with really expensive markers and colored pencils. We had assignments like render brick, draw and color marble, render a commercial space (I picked the Hilton), and then the final three projects were rendering room perspectives.

I spend a very difficult semester learning how to render anything and everything, and I think I got pretty good at it. Now I'm learning how to render perspectives on the computer. I'm not a fan of computer perspectives. I spent a semester learning how to draw by hand and I want to keep doing it by hand!

Somehow I have to figure out how to get these boxes:

To look like this furniture:

And it's due tomorrow!

I'm remembering color rendering and breaking out in hives myself. UGGGHHH.
