Washington DC

In April I flew in to Baltimore, then took the MARC to Union Station in Washington DC.

I love the ceiling of Union Station

Shawn met me at Union Station and we took a Trolley Tour, which was a great way to see all the monuments.
Navy Memorial

Jefferson Memorial

Washington Monument

National Archives, we didn't have enough time to go inside.
Capitol

After the trolley tour, we walked around the grounds of the Capitol.

After walking around the Capitol, we got back on the trolley to go to the Lincoln Monument.

Next we walked to the White House.

The next day we went to the National Museum of American History. It was so incredibly inspiring to see the flag that inspired the Star Spangled Banner.

We ate lunch at Gordon Biersch

After lunch we went to the National Museum of Natural History. We both loved this museum.

For dinner we went to Bibiana's and met my aunt there, who was also vacationing in DC the same time we were.

Our last day in DC we went to the National Gallery of Art, and then I flew back home.
